Tips on Travelling on a Plane Comfortably |

When travelling on planes the journey can be very uncomfortable. Here are some helpful tips to help you have a comfortable trip.
Wear Loose Clothing
Planes often use excessive air conditioning, so bring one more layer than you think youll need. The layers should be loose, comfortable clothing, so that you can take off and add items depending to the temperature onboard
Motion Sickness
If you experience travel sickness you may need to take an over-the-counter motion sickness remedy 1/2 to 1 hour prior to takeoff.
Takeoff and Landing
Suck on boiled sweets or chew gum during takeoffs and landing to avoid ear pain due to the altitude change.
Avoid Salty Food
Before takeoff and onboard try to avoid eating salty food, such as peanuts which cause your body to retain water and bloat; you are best sticking to fruit instead.
Moisturise
Moisturise your hands and face with lotion to avoid excessive dryness from the excessive air conditioning onboard.
One Bag!
Carry everything you need, including books, magazines, stereo headphones and bottled water, in one bag, this way you will be able to locate items easily!
Exercise
Do plenty of stretching before, during and after the trip to prevent the muscles from cramping. Walk up and down the aisles and rotate your neck, shoulders and wrists. Airlines recommend you follow the onboard exercises to keep the blood moving whilst you sit in your seat.
Fluids
Drink plenty of water onboard to keep your body hydrated. Avoid consuming too much alcohol and caffeinated beverages that can dehydrate and contribute to jet lag. |

Whenever I fly, I always take a packet of polos for whenever my throat feels dry.
