Planning a Trip to Walt Disney World, Florida |

A visit to Walt Disney World is one of the most magical experiences for all the family, one which you and the kids will never forget; however planning and budgeting is necessary for a successful trip:
Planning
Begin preparing for the trip several months in advance, especially if you have far to travel to get to Disney. It’s a good idea to obtain a map of each of the parks you intend to visit and schedule well in advance what the family wants to do. This should avoid any arguments when you are there!!!
Avoiding the Crowds
If possible take the kids out of school when you plan to go, crowds are less likely during the school term and midweek.
Walt Disney World Website
Search the Walt Disney World website (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com) for information about opening hours, accommodation, ticket prices, and other sights to visit in the area. You should look out for any discounts!
Reservations
Make all reservations online at the official Walt Disney World website. Here you can purchase Disney passports to all parks, reserve accommodation and find out about transportation options. Disney passports enable early admission to the park prior to public opening. A great tip to help you queue jump to the most popular rides before the larger crowds arrives!
Parades
Access the Walt Disney World website for a list of parades and special events at each of the parks. The website should also inform you of any rides that are closed.
Be in Comfort!
Forget the flip flops; wear very comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking if you intend to experience all those rides!
Have Fun!
Take a bag with you containing sunscreen, film, hats, sunglasses, drinks, snacks and a towel (just in case you get wet on those rides!), these items are very expensive inside the parks.
........And enjoy the magical experience of Walt Disney World! |

I would recommend looking at a few places before buying your tickets, some places will do special deals and some may offer them cheaper.

Can anyone tell me where are the best places to get tickets for the theme parks? direct from Disney Worlds website or from travel agents?

My husband and I took our two young children to Florida last September, I can safely say it was the best holiday I have ever had. The look on the kids faces was worth the months of saving to go, =)
