How to Pass Time at Orlando International Airport

First Choice Vacation Homes Blog

Orlando International Airport main area is Level 3 which is divided into Area A (Landside) and Aread B (Airside).  Level 3 incorporates all ticketing, restaurants, shops and the entrance to the Hyatt Hotel, so during lengthy delays you can find quite a lot of things to do to pass the time.

Free Time
It is important to check how much free time you will have at the airport and always ask the airline whether your flight is delayed and which gate it will arrive/depart so you can plan how to spend the time at the airport.

Eat at the Airport
It is a good idea to wait to eat until you are at the airport.  Why not treat yourself one last time by eating at one of the Hyatts atrium restaurants, followed by a few drinks at the bar!  Otherwise you could always try one of the eateries in the terminal.

Shop for Gifts

Why not leave your gift shopping until you get to the airport where you will find a range of stores such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, Warner Bros and other gift options including jewellry, clothing and electronics.  Do bear in mind that it may be a good idea to keep your luggage back in case you want to check in these gifts prior to boarding the plane.

Treat Yourself
The Profiles Hair Salon is located Landside, so why not treat yourself to a trim before you go home!

Take some quiet time at the Chapel
If you are totally exhausted after your vacation why not take some quiet time out and visit the chapel for some peace.

If you have got a long wait and have got kids with you, try giving them a colouring book, it keeps my children entertained for hours.
