From the Rocky Mountain lakes and peaks, to the never-ending forests, deserts and rainforests to the wild northern frontier, Canada is a wide range of extremely vast lands.

Montreal with its impressive famous landmark Notre-Dame Basilica, built in 1829 from a mixture of carved wood, paintings, sculptures and stained glass windows. For a taste of both the outdoor and the big city life, Vancouver offers the chance to ski, sail in the day or have a few drinks at night.

Generally areas that are near the coast or the Great Lakes have milder winters and cooler summers. The hottest and busiest months are July and August where it is reliably warm throughout Canada. However during the months, November to March, temperatures can reach sub-zero everywhere, though the days are clear and dry in many areas.      

Canada offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and fast-food joints wherever you go. Traditional Canadian cooking consists on local game and fish, prices do range but on average, meals for two without wine is between $25 and $50.
