Venezuela, located on the Caribbean coast, containing all these; Caribbean beaches, snow-capped mountains, wildlife-rich wetlands, desert, Amazonian jungle, and a river valley. Not only can it be visited all year round with temperatures reaching up to 32°C at the coast.

As well as having 43 national parks and many private nature reserves, Venezuela is also home to the worlds highest waterfall, Salto Ángel. Salto Angel total height is 979m and is about 16 times the height of Niagara Falls and can be reached by boat with an option to stay overnight in hammocks at one of the camps near the base of the falls.

The 10.2km Guácharo Cave, located in Cueva del Guácharo, is Venezuelas longest cave system, inhabited by around 10,000 guácharo (oilbird), which can be seen leaving the cave at night on their search for food.

Beaches cover over 2600km of Caribbean coastline with its white sands and crystal-clear water, which can be reached by public transport of buses.

Buses run regularly to popular destinations and departure times can be found in the bus companys booth.

Pabellón criollo is the Venezuelan national dish, which consists of carne mechada (shredded beef), avocado, tajadas (sliced plantains), cheese, rice and beans. Venezuelans are highly fond of their beer, with two major brands of Polar and Regional, each with light and stronger ice versions.
