Saint Martin
Saint Martin is less developed than its neighbour Saint Maarten, but with its many French restaurants, duty-free shops and fabulous beaches, make this refined island worth a visit.
Marigot, Saint Martins capital has a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and an endless supply of duty free shops as well as two large commercial centres, at the harbour front, and at Port La Royale Marina. Fort Louis offers some fine views from its stone wall remains on the hilltop; St Martin Archaeological Museum presents a delightful showcase of Saint Martins history.
Saint Martin tends to be hot and humid the majority of the time, average temperature is around 26°C, and from January to April trades winds temper the humidity.
