Cornwall is the number one destination for UK tourists and set in the heart of the Cornish countryside, Streamside is a purpose built holiday bungalow with double glazing throughout. It offers you comfortable accommodation for up to four people, with one double and one twin bedroom. It also has a spacious lounge/diner, a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Outside, is a lawned garden, the boundary of which is the narrow River Seaton, with farmland beyond. The garden includes a patio with garden furniture and barbeque. The property also has one parking space. The bungalow is privately owned and our aim is to provide good quality, self-catering accommodation at a sensible, fair price. Bed linen is provided and towels are available on request at just 2 per person per week. There is no gas, but electricity is supplied through a 1 meter. Rosecraddoc is renowned for its tranquillity, even in the high season. Although the site does have a bar and restaurant, if you are looking for 18-30 style nightlife then this is not the place for you. If you wish to get away from it all then the sound of the babbling brook, as one of our visitors described it, may well suit your quest for peace and relaxation. Although Streamside is a good place to relax it is also well situated as a base from which to visit many of the attractions offered by Cornwall and west Devon. The ancient market town of Liskeard is nearby, as are the coastal fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. The city of Plymouth is a 30-40 minute drive away, with the National Marine Aquarium, the Barbican, the Hoe, the Plymouth Dome and the Theatre Royal. Your journey would include crossing the famous Tamar Bridge and the Tamar Valley itself offers many quiet retreats, accessed by road or possibly by rail, on the picturesque Plymouth-Gunnislake branch line. For the outdoor types, both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within easy reach offering great hiking opportunities. |
