Enjoy the private dock right in front of the house. Become one with the 180-degree views of Deer Lake and the surrounding wooded hills. Sit on the dock or deck or living room in winter for hours watching the view and birds. Speaking of birds, careful observers are likely to see eagles, herons, belted kingfishers, Canadian geese, mergansers, loons, cormorants, buffleheads and much more. Trout fishing is excellent and popular. Its a great place for canoes, rowboats and summertime swimming. Water skiing is limited to a few hours in the middle of the day. Jet skis are not allowed on the lake. Enjoy the many restaurants and shops in Langley, 9 minutes away. There is a lot to do and see on Whidbey Island and we are conveniently located for most of it. A trip to Whidbey Island isnt complete without visiting Puget Sound. Salt-water access boating and beach is just a few minutes away at the numerous parks on South Whidbey. This is a perfect romantic getaway for just the two of you. Bring the kids and make it a family event. Rent it with friends. Its a great place to chat, enjoy the view, sip a little wine and generally relax. Summer, fall, winter and spring, this is a great place to be. No smoking. No pets. Three night minimum stay during spring and summer, two night minimum in fall and winter. We may request a longer minimum stay over major holidays. |
