The Bay Breeze Cottage II, a two-bedroom cottage, is located just ten minutes from the Norfolk International Airport and twelve minutes from the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The location could not be better for exploring all of the many attractions that Virginia Beach offers visitors to the area. Within a short walk from the cottage are three nice restaurants as well as a convenience store. Within a quarter mile is the Lynnhaven Inlet where visitors can dine dockside at five restaurants, one of which has a fresh seafood market as well. Also, boats can be chartered for both fishing and bay or ocean excursions...jet skis are available for rent. Just up the street is the Lynnhaven Fishing Pier and The First Landing State Park. A three minute drive takes you to a nice city park or to the Bayside Recreation Center where visitors can enjoy an Olympic pool, gymnasium, racketball courts, weight room, bowling lanes as well as a gameroom. Indeed, theres no shortage of activities within a short distance of The Bay Breeze Cottage II...its a place youll want to revisit over and over again! Inside, the cottage offers guests two spacious bedrooms, the with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. Each bedroom is tastefully furnished and appointed with comfortable bedding. The adjacent bathroom provides a tub/shower combo with an adjacent linen closet. The very spacious greatroom is highlighted by warm yellow-pine wainscoating and provides guests with comfortable seating on the large, wraparound sectional sofa. Also, enjoy the 52 inch digital (cable) television with DVD player as well as wireless internet service. Adjacent is the newly remodeled eat-in kitchen that is fully equipped with all appliances. Just outside the front entry is a small sideyard set up with table, chairs and a grill. Theres ample offstreet parking for guests and visitors. Best of all, lovely Lynnhaven Beach is just a short 3-minute walk away! As there is limited public parking in the area, the beach is rarely crowded. Typically, neighbors flock to the beach in the late evening to watch the magnificent sunsets and await nightfall to see the lights on the 17-mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel that is two and a half miles up the beach. Youll not find a nicer cottage as your vacation destination in Virginia Beach...its one of very few in the area. |
