La Siesta overlooks Los Olivos, Mijas Golf, from here you can watch the golfers pass, or a short drive to the Club house, for lunch or a drink. A car would be required to get to all the local attractions, although there are bars, restaurants and a shop nearby. Opposite, is a large park area where barbecues are provided free of charge, you can take your own food and cook it al fresco making use of the bar facilities as well. Near by is the Tamisa Golf Hotel, where you can relax in the poolside bar, or enjoy a meal in the restaurant or on the terrace. Less than a 15 minute drive takes you to the bustling and vibrant town of Fuengirola, where you will find bars, restaurants and entertainment to suit everyone. Golf courses are in abundance, with Miraflores, La Cala and Alhaurin only 15 mins away by car. An Aquapark is just down the road.Fuengirola Zoo is new, at dusk they change the animals from daytime to nocturnal. Selwo Wild Life Park is about 50 minutes Tivoli World, is a small theme park in Benalmedena, where you will also find the Crocodile Park, Seaworld and Selwo Dolphin Park The old and historical towns of Grenada and Seville are about 2 hours drive.
