There are many horses riding centres and tennis courts where you can play. Along the Algarves coast there are opportunities to practice watersports and fishing.
Portimo is a town of about 40000 inhabitants, on the mouth of the Arade River, Atlantic Ocean. Situated in the ALGARVE south of Portugal it is about 100 kms from the Spanish border Andalucia.

Seafood and high quality fish give a special taste of Portuguese cuisine to a great variety of restaurants. There are several golf courses and a marina for sea lovers. There are plenty of local shops and bars. Praia da Rocha is also a very child friendly town. There are many childrens festivals and two outdoor rubber-playground areas, on the beach
