Amsterdam has a mix of old and new with modern shops, bars and restaurants mixed with old crooked houses, 17th century architecture, and cobbled streets. Amsterdam is made up of 90 islands which are linked by 400 bridges; the best way to explore is by walking or cycling, as it has a bike friendly atmosphere. Places of interest include Anne Frank’s house, the Van Gogh museum and the botanical gardens. Amsterdam is definitely a city of culture worth exploring.

An hour train ride away from Amsterdam is the Netherlands largest national park, Hoge Veluwe. With over 13,500 acres of land with red deer and wild boar roaming, and the Kröller-Müller Museum, it is a worth a visit.

Home to the largest port in Europe is the city of Rotterdam, a city with many architectural statements, cube houses, the Euromast and Erasmus Bridge. Rotherham has many tourist attractions and events such as the Jazz festival, many shops and museums.
