The cottage is situated in a peaceful wooded glen at the foot of Luqnaquilla, Wicklows highest mountain, which rises to over 3,000 feet behind the cottage. In the local area there is golf, hill walking, mountain climbing, fishing, sailing and blue flag beaches. There are lots of friendly pubs and restaurants nearby and the pretty village of Avoca is a short drive away. Dublin is also an easy day trip for visits to breweries, museums and great shopping. |
