The Sagittarius Apartments are situated above the Sagittarius Restaurant, approximately 700 metres about 10 mins walk from Tingaki Beach. Each 2 bedroom apartment can sleep up to a maximum 5 or 6 persons and comprises the following: bedroom 1 with double bed, bedroom 2 with twin beds, lounge with sofa beds, two easy chairs, coffee table. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, grill oven/duel ring hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, juice maker, iron/ironing board, all cooking equipment, crockery/cutlery, dining table chairs. There is satellite TV, air conditioning and safe box. Each apartment has its own private balcony which give beautiful views of the surrounding area and neighbouring islands. Each balcony has outdoor table and chairs. Linen and towels not beach towels are provided and changed regularly. Maid service is 6 days per week. All nearby hotel and apartment complex pools are free to non-residents and the nearest ones are only 2 minutes from the Sagittarius Apartments. The apartments are 14 km from Kos Hippocrates Airport - a 15 minutes drive by either hired car or taxi. Assistance with arranging car hire will be given if requested. Parking is available at the property. The nearest restaurant is directly below the apartments and there is plenty of choice in the immediate vicinity of supermarkets, gift shops, other restaurants and bars. The area is quite flat and bicycle hire is very popular. As well as bike riding, visitors may be interested in horse riding and go carting which exist near to Tingaki. A little further away in Mastichari about 10 km from Tingaki there is a new fun water park nearing completion - it is said to be the largest in Europe. Kos Town has many shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs for those wishing for more life on their holiday. Also in Kos Town, one can visit the castle, the museum, the ancient amphitheatre, the ancient site of Kos Town and of course the Asklipeon where Hippocrates taught medicine. Tingaki is a resort for those seeking a fairly quiet holiday and families with young children, because the beach is so safe and shallow. Anyone requiring a cot and/or high chair may request this at the time of booking. The basic charge is 320 euros per week 7 nights for 4 persons. When 5 or 6 persons are occupying an apartment making use of the sofa beds please add 50 euros per person per week to the basic price. |
