Calico Kai is situated on the calm inlet lagoon in the exclusive Cayman Kai community and is directly across the road from the famous Rum Point Beach. Calico Kai is a fully furnished and equipped 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen with all new modern appliances including the refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender and charcoal BBQ grill. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer and the Island House comes equipped with linens and towels, along with basic toiletries for your arrival. Also it has Cable Satellite TV, stereo, phone and a small library. A dining room next to the kitchen seats six. This sitting area is located off the living room in front of the Island House with a beautiful view of the Famous Rum Point Beach which is just a short walk across the road. The kitchen is equipped with all new modern appliances including the refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender. A full laundry room is next to the kitchen with a washer and dryer. A pleasantly decorated stairway and hallway leads to the master and guest bedrooms. A king sized bed in the master bedroom, with a full private bath, walk in closets and a balcony overlooking the lanai, backyard, pool and lagoon. A large balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the lanai, backyard, pool and lagoon. Two double sized bed in the guest bedroom, with a full private bath, walk in closets and a balcony overlooking the lanai, backyard, pool and lagoon. The large two story lanai leads to the beautiful landscape backyard and pool with a charcoal grill and hammock. The large lanai has a beautiful view of the landscaped backyard with plenty of seating for entertaining or just relaxing. The Island House is shaded under Australian pines and enjoys consistent trade winds that come across from Rum Point through the Island House to the lagoon with no A/C required. Ceiling fans are throughout, and we have air conditioners in each of the bedrooms for our guests. Care to take your dip in a swimming pool rather than the Caribbean Sea You can swim in our 20 x 40 private pool surrounded by palm trees with their branches gently swaying in the breeze. For those who would rather lounge by the pool than swim, there is enough deck furniture provided for 20 people with a mixture of chairs, lounges and benches. Enjoy a swim in the freshwater pool that overlooks the lagoon, or step across to Rum Point a one minute stroll and enjoy lunch and drinks at the Wreck Bar then nap in one of the many hammocks shaded by Australian pine. Rum Point Beach which is just steps from your front door features lovely white sand beaches, pristine snorkeling over marine protected reefs, volleyball and beautiful Casuarinas Australian pines with shaded hammocks, beach chairs and picnic tables. The Wreck Bar Grill offers an excellent lunch menu and full bar. Your front yard is North Sound where you can enjoy some of the best swimming, snorkeling and diving in the world. Enter Rum Point Beach by taking a few steps from your front door on a sand path between white picket fences. As you walk toward the beach, cool trade winds quickly erase all thoughts of your job, commute and bad weather at home.
